Verify what you downloaded
Each release lists the installer's SHA-256 checksum. Compare it with the file you downloaded, for example with PowerShell:
Get-FileHash .\PROOFDESK-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256Signed builds show a digital signature under File Properties → Digital Signatures. Builds without a signature are labeled "unsigned" in the release notes.
